KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The Kuwaiti Cabinet held its weekly meeting on Monday, chaired by His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at the Seif Palace, and lamented the recent attacks launched by the Houthis against Saudi saudi. The OIC MF meeting discussed the escalating dangerous challenges facing the world and the Muslim nation as well as other issues of common concern including combating Islamophobia and strengthening coordination and cooperation to achieve the greatest unity and solidarity among member states, Sheikh Ahmad Nasser told the Cabinet. At the OIC meeting, Kuwait was unanimously elected to head the OIC Human Rights Commission for a second term, due to its leading role in the promotion of human rights, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law.

The Minister further briefed the Cabinet on the essentials of the meetings he had with his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries which discussed bilateral relations and other topics of common concern. In addition, Sheikh Ahmad Nasser briefed the Ministers on the results of his visit to Qatar, where he participated in the Doha Forum as a representative of His Highness the Prime Minister, and the results of the visit of the Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi.

Sheikh Ahmad Nasser briefed the Cabinet on his talks with the guest on the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them in different fields to achieve common interests, as well as other matters of common interest. In addition, the Cabinet dealt with the affairs of the National Assembly and was informed of the subjects on the agenda of parliament. In addition, the Cabinet expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the cowardly “terrorist” drone bomb attacks launched by the Houthis against the central, eastern and western provinces of Saudi Arabia, it said. said Al-Fares, who is also oil minister.
