Prague Castle, Folimanka and Czech Radio for free

The opening ceremony of the new season at prague castle will offer free entry on May 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane, and other sites that typically require tickets. Additionally, there is a chance to see inside the Spanish Hall, Hall of Mirrors, and other ceremonial spaces. The Royal Garden will have a camp with cosplayers. Learn more here.

See inside one of Prague’s Cold War-era anti-nuclear shelters, Kryt Folimanka. Prague 2 opens the complex under Folimanka Park once a month, and the next time is May 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The network of tunnels and halls could support 1,300 people. Big international sounds and laughs

Comedy, progressive rock and Mercury Prize nominee

An international comic book program will be at The comedy store. The show is headlined by award-winning comic Ria Lina. Also appearing are Ben Norris and Paul Sinha, as well as local comedian David Čech. Divadlo Bravo, May 13. Learn more here and here.

English progressive rock band Van der Graaf generator influenced a generation of musicians from Rush to John Lydon. The current lineup includes founding member Peter Hammill as well as solo members Hugh Banton and Guy Evans. Their postponed show is at Divadlo Archa on May 13. Learn more here and here.

American singer-songwriter Conan Gray, known as the King of Pop Gen Z, brings his world tour to Forum Karlín on May 14. His first studio album “Kid Krow” contained the hit songs “Maniac” and “Heather”. Learn more here. and here.

experimental rock band noon black was nominated for a 2019 Mercury Prize and is currently touring with their second album, “Cavalcade”, released in 2021. Their third album, titled “Hellfire”, is due out in July. They will be at MeetFactory on May 15. Learn more here and here.

German hard rockers Rammstein will be in Letiště Letňany on May 15 and 16. Shows will have increased security, and people are asked not to bring large bags. Learn more here and here.

International Day of Light, Navalis

Of them laser beams will cross the Charles Bridge May 13 and 14 from 8 p.m. to midnight on the occasion of the International Day of Light to celebrate the International Day of Light. The event, organized by the organizers of the Signal light art festival, will symbolically use the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Learn more in our original story.

The directory Navalis is held in memory of St. Jan Nepomucký, the man whose statue touches virtually every tourist. A procession takes some of his relics from Prague Castle and over Charles Bridge on May 15 at 7 p.m. A boat regatta then a concert on the water follows. Learn more here.

Israeli Food Festival, Karlín Grills and Cider Festival

Opening of the vintage market and “spa”

Find vintage and used clothing at flight. 4, at The Pitchers on Smíchovská náplavka on May 13 from 4-8 p.m., with music from DJ Mur from 6-10 p.m. Learn more here.

Bring the family

Knights, Dragon Boats and Lollipopz

Medieval battles will take place at Chodovska tvrz in Prague 4. The events will take place between May 13 and May 15, but the fight itself will not take place until May 14. There are many activities for children, period music and workshops throughout the festival. Learn more here.
